YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. On November 7, Ucom employees once again joined the Arevordi organization and its partner, the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), in another tree planting event, this time held at the Urtsadzor eco-educational center, the company's press service reported.

This event is part of an environmental program supported by Ucom. The project began earlier this year and will continue until its completion. Its goal is to plant approximately 10,000 trees across Armenia, which will help restore natural landscapes and ecosystems.

Ucom employees also visited greenhouses where seedlings are grown, the Wildlife Rescue Center, learned about the work of forest rangers, and learned about the video surveillance system installed with Ucom's support, which is used to protect animals and natural areas.

"As a company committed to green values, Ucom places great importance on participating in projects aimed at protecting nature. For us, environmental protection is not just assistance or an isolated event, but an attitude and a conscious choice. When a person plants a tree with their own hands, a genuine connection with nature and responsibility for the environment are formed. We will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the conservation of Armenia's nature and the restoration of ecosystems," noted Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian.

"Our initiative, jointly with Ucom, combines practical work to restore nature—tree planting—with our eco-educational mission. The involvement of Ucom employees, their visit to the greenhouses and the Rescue Center, demonstrate that we are fostering a conscious culture where corporate responsibility is directly linked to tangible actions for the benefit of nature. We thank our partners for this systematic contribution to the conservation of Armenia's wildlife," said Ruben Khachatryan, Director of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC).

Reforestation plays a vital role in nature conservation: it helps protect rare and endangered tree species, promotes ecosystem restoration, mitigates the effects of climate change, and prevents desertification.-0-
