YEREVAN, November 18. /ARКА/. Team Group of Companies, covering issues of Armenia's energy security, the development of renewable energy sources, their efficient use, and industry discussions in this area, supported the annual Robust Armenia conference. This year's event was titled "Efficiency: Key to Armenia's Energy Security."

At the conference, Team presented its member companies' activities in sustainable development, including a fourfold increase in renewable energy sources over several years, the launch of a solar power plant with an annual output of 16 million kWh in Gegharkunik, and other projects.

Aram Barseghyan, Deputy Director of Team Telecom Armenia, the largest company in the Team Group of Companies, spoke at the conference about Team's synergy in improving energy efficiency and jointly creating more energy-saving solutions.

"When launching each new project, we examine not only the business's performance but also its potential environmental impact to select the most effective solution and sustainable development principles. We don't limit ourselves to implementing innovative solutions; we create infrastructures that will last for decades and are not only technologically but also environmentally efficient," noted Aram Barseghyan.

At the panel discussion at the "Innovation and Sustainable Development: Opportunities and Risks" conference, Nelly Malyan, Director of Team Systems, a member of the Team Group of Companies, presented ways to expand the Team Energy electric vehicle charging station network and foster a culture of electric vehicle use in the country.

"Today, there are over 200 electric vehicle charging stations in Armenia, approximately 70% of which are located in the regions, which has already ensured the minimum number required for comfortable driving. We will continue to expand the number and geography of stations, focusing on their capacity to ensure fast charging and time savings." Team Energy's 240 kW high-speed charging stations have already been installed both in the capital and in the regions, and work in this area is actively underway," noted Nelli Malyan.

The Team Group of Companies will continue to invest in the construction of robust infrastructure and the implementation of sustainable development projects, contributing to Armenia's energy security and the implementation of energy-efficient solutions.
