YEREVAN, February 20. /ARКА/. The 24th annual conference of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) re-elected Team Group co-founder Alexander Yesayan as UATE President, Team press office reported.

Expressing gratitude for the trust, Alexander Yesayan emphasized that the successes achieved by UATE are the result of the joint and effective work of member organizations and partners.

"We will continue to position Armenia as a technologically leading country. In this ambitious, but quite realistic perspective, the involvement of each of us, cooperation with organizations and the government are important. The significant growth of the UATE community is an important indicator that proves its viability and readiness for new successes in this area," Alexander Yesayan noted.

He also added that they will continue to develop existing projects. "We will continue to open new Armaths labs, as well as re-equip existing ones. DigiTech, which became the largest in history last year, will also remain in the spotlight. We plan to make it an international platform, raising the already set bar and attracting international companies.”

 During the conference, the current state of the technological ecosystem in Armenia, development paths and the main problems of the sector were presented. 

The newly elected UATE Board includes Artavazd Minasyan (co-founder and president of Crisp), Armen Kocharyan (CEO and co-founder of Volo), Irina Dumanyan (CEO of Siemens), Arsen Baghdasaryan (CEO of Dataart), Arman Atoyan (co-founder and CEO of Ix-Tech), Khachik Nazaryan (CEO of Broadcom Engineering), Gevorg Safaryan (founder and CEO of Limetech), Gor Vardanyan (founder of Fimtech), Spartak Kyuregyan (CEO of Zellus), Ashot Tonoyan (CEO of Service Titan), Artavazd Yeritsyan (founder and CEO of Podcastle), Narek Aslikyan (founder and CEO of Armenian Code Academy), Rem Darbinyan (founder and CEO of Viral Mango). -0-
