Armenia's IT sector output grew by 25.6% in 2026, but no significant increase in the number of employees or wages was recorded, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan reported.
YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. Armenia's IT sector output grew by 25.6% in 2026, but no significant increase in the number of employees or wages was recorded, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan reported.
"The number of employees increased by 1.7%, and wages by 0.4%," he said during a parliamentary discussion of the 2026 draft budget.
Revenue in Armenia's communications sector increased by 1.5% in the first half of the year, reaching 82.9 billion drams. ($1 = 383.05 drams).
