Armenia is formulating a strategy aimed at advancing its high-tech sector
YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. Armenia is in the process of creating a strategic plan for enhancing the high-tech sector.
This announcement was made by Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan during the fourth session of the Council for the Development of Science and Technology, which was presided over by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The phases involved in the development of the strategic plan were outlined, which encompass an analysis of the current landscape of the high-tech sector, an examination of global trends, the creation of a successful model for Armenia's high-tech industry, the establishment of strategic objectives, and the formulation of initiatives, a results framework, and an action plan.
As reported by the government press service, it was emphasized that the draft program is presently being reviewed by esteemed international scientists and experts to guarantee the international credibility and comparability of the methodologies and results employed.
Subsequently, efforts will commence on the formulation of an action plan.-0-
