“ArmenTel” to start provision of internet by FTTB technology

“ArmenTel” (trade mark Beeline) announces about commercial launch of the service Hi-Line Optic by FTTB technology, press-service of the company informs.
YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. “ArmenTel” (trade mark Beeline) announces about commercial launch of the service Hi-Line Optic by FTTB technology, press-service of the company informs.
The service Hi-Line Optic is provided by tariff line “Ultra” where the cost of symmetric unlimited channel with the capacity of 2.5 MB/sec. is 6000 drams. Monthly subscriber payment for similar channels with the capacity of 3.5; 5; 6 and 12 MB/sec. is respectively 8000, 12000, 15000 and 20000 drams.
Connection to one of the above mentioned tariff plans does not envisage conclusion of contract with mandatory term of using the service in a certain period of time.
“Internet by FTTB envisages synchronic channel, high speed and reliability of communication. Having the most developed optic-fiber infrastructure in the country, “ArmenTel” is going to provide the connection to the final subscriber. Thus, in the history of our company is starting a new development round, and for our clients will be available communication by FTTB technology”, said “ArmenTel” CEO Igor Klimko.
Connection to unlimited TP “Ultra” of the service Hi-Line Optic is for free. Transfer fr om one unlimited TP “Ultra” to another one is also unlim ited.
Currently the service Hi-Line by FTTB technology is available in Ani region, Gyumri.
“ArmenTel” is a subsidiary of VimpelCom (trade mark Beeline), since April 2007, 100% of “ArmenTel” owned Russian company. “ArmenTel” provides fixed and mobile communication services, as well as high-speed Internet access.- 0 -
